Five-time Olympic medalist Lilly King punched her ticket to the 2024 Paris Games — her third-straight Olympics — Monday night at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The Evansville native was cheered on by a hometown crowd as she took the win for the 100-meter breaststroke at U.S. Olympic Team Trials. She finished with a time of 1:05.43, the only time under 1:06. She also ranks the fourth fastest time in the world this season.

King currently holds the world record for the fastest women’s 100-meter breaststroke at 1:04.13, which she set at the 2017 World Championships.

Indiana University’s all-time leading medal-winner among women’s athletes, King becomes IU’s first women’s swimmer to reach a third Olympics.
