The Indiana Department of Transportation announced nightly lane closures south of Bloomington on I-69 starting Wednesday.
The lane closure schedule:
- Wednesday, September 4 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.: The right lane heading north will close between State Road 37 and Rockport Road.
- Thursday, September 5 from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m.: The left lane heading north will close between S.R. 37 and Rockport Road.
- Thursday, September 5 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.: The left two lanes heading south will close between Rockport Road and S.R. 37.
- Friday, September 6 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.: The right lane heading south will close between Rockport Road and S.R. 37.
INDOT said the closures will allow maintenance on sensors in the road. It also said the maintenance schedule depends on the weather.
