Seymour immigrants, Kinsey funding, governor’s executive orders | Indiana Newsdesk

Seymour officials and residents are voicing their objections to the large influx of immigrants over the past few decades. But with president-elect Trump promising mass deportations, immigration advocates are worried about human rights violations.

State officials and lawmakers are threatening to defund Indiana University over its continued association with the Kinsey Institute. IU says it is following the law and no state dollars fund the institute.

And Mike Braun issued a slew of executive orders after being sworn in as Indiana’s new governor this week.
