TUESDAY UPDATE:
Up to 3 inches of snow with some ice mixed in is expected for portions of central Indiana Wednesday afternoon.
National Weather Service forecasters have issued a winter weather advisory from 1 p.m. Wednesday until 4 a.m. Thursday for Terre Haute, Indianapolis, Greencastle and Kokomo areas.
Roads, bridges, and overpasses will likely become slick and hazardous.
Bloomington, Nashville, Bedford and Columbus are expected to see light snowfall through early tonight.
More wintry precipitation may be in store for the weekend but it is still too early to tell.

MONDAY UPDATE:
More snow is coming this week for south central Indiana, starting late tonight. The National Weather Service in Indianapolis says to expect up to an inch by Tuesday night.
More widespread wintry precipitation is expected Wednesday afternoon through early Thursday – though it’s too early to tell timing, location, and kind of precipitation.
Forecasters say another round of precipitation is in the works for the weekend, but details are uncertain.
Heavier snow is expected further south in Orange and Washington counties, where a winter storm watch takes effect tonight through Wednesday morning.
Light sleet and freezing rain are possible there with up to 4 inches of snow.
