Forecasters are calling for warmer conditions to continue over the weekend with showers and thunderstorms.

Storms expected Sunday and continuing into Sunday night may be strong or severe due to strong winds ahead of a cold front.

National Weather Service officials say the main threat will be damaging straight line winds, but isolated tornadoes can’t be ruled out.

Officials say to be aware of potentially severe weather Sunday from 3 p.m. until midnight.

Highs over the weekend should reach 70 degrees with overnight lows falling to 60 on Saturday and 45 Sunday. Monday’s temps will only reach 51 degrees with a low of 33.
