Survey teams have confirmed three tornadoes after Wednesday night’s severe weather.

National Weather Service officials say they’ll have more information once their survey is complete.

An EF-2 tornado rating includes wind speeds of up to 135 mph.

Storm reports from Hendricks County indicate a barn blown 80 yards, many trees down, a structure collapse, and housing development damage. Winds of 81 mph were reported near Danville.

Additional severe thunderstorms are possible across central #inwx , mainly late Friday afternoon into the overnight. The primary severe threats will be damaging winds and large hail. Numerous reports of trees down, debris, and damage across the eastern part of Lawrence County came from the 911 call center.

The EF-0 tornado southeast of Heltonville reached peak winds of 80 mph damaging farm structures.

Gov. Mike Braun is activating the Indiana National Guard to help with storm recovery efforts as 41 counties assess damage and begin to cleanup.

A flood watch remains in effect through Sunday morning for most of the state. Multiple rounds of heavy rain are expected through the weekend, including a slight risk for more severe weather late Friday afternoon into the overnight.
