A Nashville man was arrested Friday after police responded to a report of an attempted child abduction at the McDonald’s on State Road 46 East in Brown County.
Justin Gadson, 30, was taken into custody on preliminary charges of battery on a person under 14 and criminal confinement after an incident in the restaurant’s bathroom.
According to the probable cause affidavit, Gadson grabbed the young boy’s arm and said, “You’re not going anywhere.” The victim pulled away, prompting Gadson to flee the restroom and run.
Police arrested Gadson shortly after. He was booked into the Brown County Jail without further incident.
His initial court hearing is scheduled for June 9.
