Criminal charges of rape, sexual battery, and battery against former IU football player Connor Delp were dismissed Thursday in Monroe Circuit Court.
The dismissal cites the defendant’s right to be tried within a year of the arrest. The case involves an alleged incident November 11, 2022.
A jury trial was scheduled for June 23.
A civil case brought by the alleged victim and her parents against Delp, IU, and IU Health appears to be proceeding in federal court.
