Since it opened in September 2024, Amped at IU has featured unique guitars and other instruments from The Jim Irsay Collection, IU Jacobs School of Music, and Traditional Arts Indiana to demonstrate the evolution of the modern guitar.

This dynamic exhibit will end its year-long run at University Collections at McCalla with special programming on Saturday, September 13, 2025.

To celebrate the close of the exhibit, The Jim Irsay Collection is offering a one-day-only exhibition of rare guitars owned and played by:
