The home furnishing store, At Home, is closing its Bloomington location after filing for bankruptcy last month.

The west side location is among six stores now liquidating merchandise and equipment, according to financial services company Hilco Consumer – Retail, which is assisting At Home to finalize the closures.

The others are in Illinois, Michigan, Iowa, New Jersey, and Utah, according to Hilco.

"These six stores are offering some of the best deals shoppers will see all year — but only for a short time," a Hilco statement said.

"Customers who want the best selection on furniture, décor, and seasonal finds should shop early before the most popular items disappear."

The big box home furnisher announced it was closing dozens of stores across the U.S. last month but Bloomington’s location wasn’t on that list.

Hilco’s announcement says all sales after Aug. 1 are final, although closing locations will accept returns of older purchases through the 12th. The stores will operate during their usual hours until the shutdown.

The Bloomington At Home location opened in 2019, replacing a Kmart.
