Kind Of Blue: Blue Feelings In Popular Song

This week, our topic is blue. We'll be looking at songs all about the color and the feeling of being blue. But as a challenge to myself, I'm not going to play any typical "blues," so no "St. Louis Blues," no "West End Blues," and no "Blues In The Night." Luckily, "blue" is probably the most evocative color in the Great American Songbook, representative of all kinds of melancholic feelings. So on this hour of the program, I'll play all kinds of songs with blue feelings, like "Born To Be Blue," "Serenade In Blue," and "Blue Turning Grey Over You."
