Songs of the Season: Summer

Summertime is here! So this week, I'll be bringing you our annual salute to warm weather with a "Songs of the Season" episode for summer. In the great American songbook, the songs of summertime are breezy, wistful, and generally easy and carefree, not unlike the season itself. On this episode, we'll hear some odes to the heat from Mel Torme and Ella Fitzgerald, a song each about June, July, and August, and other summertime favorites sung by Nat King Cole, Nancy Wilson, Frank Sinatra, and others.
