A Place For Film - Discussing The Puppets' Master

Episode 90 - Discussing The Puppets' Master

On this week's episode we invite director Dylan Cashbaugh and producer Jon Stante on the show to talk about their film The Puppets' Master, which screened at the IU Cinema in May of 2012. The film is about a group of marionettes that turn on their master and cut their strings.

But first we get to What Have You Seen Lately.  Jason is discussing a Woody Harrelson film and Andy covers a documentary about a housing project.

We then discuss The Puppets' Master, covering how they achieved the string effect on their actors, the design of the puppets and costumes, the acting talent involved, the score and where the idea came from. There's  clip of the film in our video episode, so take a look.

It was a fun episode, so enjoy!
