A Place For Film - Reviewing Ebertfest

Episode 83 - Reviewing Ebertfest

On this week's episode, we're reviewing Ebertfest, with our old pal Craig Simpson. The five day event occurred at the end of April, and we were there to check out the films and the panels. The annual festival is hosted by film critic Roger Ebert and takes place in Champaign, IL at the Virginia Theater.

But first we start out with What Have You Seen Lately. Jason's discussing My Week With Marilyn, and Andy's covering some Bunuel. Craig's talking about Chimes at Midnight, an Orson Welles film that played at the Cinema. Andy's also talking about a new streaming site called Fandor.com.

We then get into our discussion of Ebertfest, the films, the panels, and the people we met. Find out what we thought of the event, and what we thought of the films we saw.  Enjoy the episode!
