Community Kitchen Challenge, Roast Tomatoes, Art+Farm

Today we're going to do kind of a classic Italian dish. The Italians love brown butter and sage, and we're going to add some local butternut squash.

There are several other components to this dish that make it one of the tastiest recipes Chef Daniel Orr has ever prepared for us. He also whips up some roasted tomatoes which will help you deal with the bounty of tomatoes from your garden.

Art projects with agriculture as the subject… a story from Harvest Public Media.

We meet chicken farmer and military vet Dan Hromas in today's show.

And, cooking competitions are fun for the chef participants and the spectators who get to taste the results. One local cooking competition also wants to raise awareness about the everyday difficulties of making food at a community kitchen.
