This winter cocktail features Cardinal's Nocino and Lakehouse Rum.

To make demerara syrup: In a saucepan, heat a 1:1 ratio of water to demerara sugar or Sugar in the Raw, stirring occasionally until dissolved. Allow to cool before using; store leftover syrup in the refrigerator.

RUM WALNUT ALEXANDER
2 ounces Cardinal Spirits Lake House Spiced Rum
1 ounce Cardinal Spirits Nocino
1 ounce heavy cream
1/2 ounce demerara syrup (recipe below)
Grated nutmeg, for garnish

Add all ingredients except garnish to a shaker, then add plenty of ice. Shake for 20 seconds or until the shaker is very cold. Double strain into a coupe glass and garnish with nutmeg.
