Bloomington Mayor Mark Kruzan

Bloomington's mayor says he plans to wait before announcing a timetable for delivering his next State of the City address.  Mark Kruzan says the speech will likely come in March or early April, which he says is earlier than the first years of his tenure as mayor, when it was typically given during the fall.  Speaking on WFIU's "Ask the Mayor," Kruzan said the results of the federal stimulus package signed this week by President Obama will have an effect on his outlook for the coming year.  Kruzan says bills in the state legislature dealing with an increase to the state's food and beverage tax and amending the current property tax structure into the state's constitution will also play a role in the tone of his message.
