The Future Of The Indiana Republican Party

Noon Edition airs on Fridays at noon on WFIU.

We're examining the future of the state's political parties in a two-week series on Noon Edition. Listen to our discussion with the Indiana Democratic Party  here.

This week, Republican leaders weigh in on the state of the party and what their hopes are for the November midterm elections.

Party officials voted on their official platform over the weekend, which included some controversy. A proposed change would have removed wording defining marriage as between a man and a woman. That language was not approved.

Hosts Bob Zaltsberg and Sara Wittmeyer explore how the state GOP sees themselves in the national context and how they plan to reach out to more voters.

Guests:

Sen. Rodric Bray, (R-Martinsville)

Kyle Hupfer, Chairman, Indiana GOP

Ann Collins, Vice Chair, Monroe County Republican Party
