The Business of Education

Every year, Indiana schools spend millions of dollars on text books, work books, classroom supplies, curriculum enrichment, faculty training, and general raw materials needed for teaching students.

Many of these products and services come from private corporations who supply schools with materials needed to teach children.

Who are some of these corporations though? What process do schools go through to select the best supply vendor? How much does each school actually pay 3rd party companies for teaching materials.

This week on Noon Edition, we'll sit down with a panel of experts to discuss the business of education.

You can join a live chat right here, or call into the program as it airs.

Noon Edition airs Fridays at 12:06.
