A Discussion On The Same Sex Marriage Ban

The proposed Constitutional amendment banning same sex marriage known as HJR-3 is one of the most controversial pieces of legislation the General Assembly is considering this session. Universities, corporations and individuals have spoke out against it. Political organizations have focused on it, and yesterday it passed through committee and will now be heard on the House floor.

This week on Noon Edition we’re discussing this controversial bill and the moral, economic and social impact it is having on our state.

Joining us for the conversation is IU Political Science professor  Marjorie Hershey and state senator  Mark Stoops.

You can join us for a live chat at WFIU.ORG/NoonEdition, follow us on Twitter at Noon Edition or call into the program at  812-855-0811.

Noon Edition airs Friday at 12:06.
