Hospitals Curb Early Births

Many busy moms-to-be want to schedule the births of their babies, but more physicians are advising patients not to do so unless there are medical reasons.

Last week, Columbus Regional Hospital stopped allowing parents to schedule labor, and this week on Noon Edition, we’ll talk with birth and infant development experts about research that says babies’ brains undergo important development in the last weeks of pregnancy.

Join us Friday at 12 p.m for our conversation. You can visit this site to be part of our live chat, follow us on Twitter  @NoonEdition, or join us on the air by calling in at  812-855-0811 or 1-877-285-WFIU.
