Jeff Nelsen is Associate Professor of Horn at the Jacobs School of Music. Intensely active as a soloist, chamber musician, and clinician, he is in high demand as a guest artist by orchestras, bands, and music festivals around the world.
His eclectic career comprises a cross-section of the music industry, as he is equally at home in both classical and contemporary genres in the roles of musician and mentor. His diverse musical abilities have led him to perform on Broadway and with popular entertainers including Michael Bolton and Barry Manilow.
