Kappa Sigma has withdrawn the charter of the Indiana University Bloomington chapter due to alcohol, hazing and other violations.

In a statement, Kappa Sigma Executive Director Mitchell Wilson says the Supreme Executive committee of Kappa Sigma Fraternity withdrew the charter at IU.

A banner hanging from the fraternity's window reads, "Olympus Has Fallen." Current members can live in the house until the end of the semester.

IU Spokesperson Chuck Carney says he supports the decision.

The chapter has 30 days to appeal the suspension to the Fraternity’s Board of Directors.
