There will again be two farmers’ markets in Bloomington this weekend.

Ice pop vendor Rasta Pops said in an early Thursday Facebook post it will setup at the alternative location at Bloomingfoods East on Saturday, as it has for the past several weeks. It’s being called the “East Side Farmers’ Market.”

The Rasta Pops post included a flyer advertising “plants, garlic, flower bouquets, gluten free baked goods, veggies” and more.

Bloomington gluten-free bakery Primally Inspired Eats will also be at the alternative market, according to a Facebook post.

Mayor John Hamilton said all but three vendors returned to the downtown market last Saturday, following a two-week hiatus.

He says the changes implemented last weekend will continue for the next few weeks.

“We're always open to tweaks, we heard some about parking and handicap parking, but we welcome everyone back to the market,” he says.

The East Side Farmers’ Market will be located in the Bloomingfoods East/K-Mart parking lot and the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market will be at Showers Plaza on Morton Street. Both markets run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
