February Trial Set For Quadruple Murder Suspect

A man charged with killing four people in Bartholomew County last year will go to trial in February.

Samuel Sallee, 56, is accused of killing Kathy Burton, Thomas Smith, Aaron Cross and Shawn Burton.

Last May, Kathy was found shot and stabbed in a Waynesville home. The three other victims died of gunshot wounds to the head, as well as multiple shots to other parts of their bodies.

Sallee has repeatedly denied any involvement in the murders.

A jury trial is scheduled for Feb. 16.
