Some streaks are hard to break, and for the 17th year in a row, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute has been ranked as the nation's top undergraduate engineering school.
U.S. News and World Report released its 2016 college rankings on Wednesday, and among engineering schools that do not offer doctorate programs, Rose-Hulman is tied with Harvey Mudd College in California as the best.
Other Indiana schools got good marks in their rankings.
Purdue University is ranked No. 1 among biological and agricultural engineering programs.
Three Indiana schools earned rankings inside the top 100 schools in the country.
Notre Dame earned the 18th ranking among all universities in the U.S., while Purdue ranked 61st and Indiana University came in at 75th.
