Daybook: BMV Extended Hours & Menards Settlement

Good morning! Here are a few of the stories our team will be following today:

The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles will extend their hours leading up to election day. This is the first presidential election for new voter ID requirements. All BMV locations will hold extended hours on Monday and election day Tuesday, so that registered voters can obtain a photo ID for the election. Follow Josh Margolis ( @MargolisNews) for updates.

The National Labor Relations Board has settled with the home improvement chain store Menards. The store is now required to post notice to employees that it will respect workers' rights under federal law. Annie Ropeik ( @ARopeik) of Indiana Public Broadcasting will have details on this story.
