Daybook: New Nature Preserve & Delays on S.R. 37 South

Good morning! Here are a few of the stories our team will be working on today:

  • There's a ribbon cutting this morning for a new nature preserve in central Indiana. Officials including the governor, will participate in the ceremony at Meltzer Woods. The preserve will include one of Indiana's few old growth forests. Follow Harrison Wagner ( @The_Wagoneer) for more from the dedication.  

    • New turf is going in at Indiana University's Memorial Stadium. J.D. Gray is getting a behind-the-scenes look at the installation this morning. You can follow him @  JDGray11 for photos and details.

      • Watch for delays this morning if you're traveling southbound on S.R. 37. A jumbo transformer is scheduled for delivery from Martinsville to Hoosier Energy's Bloomington Transmission Substation. Follow ( @BabsofBtown) for more details.
