As Gov. Mike Pence spends the day with Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, speculation continues about whether Pence will be chosen as Trump's running mate.
Pence has avoided the conversation, saying only that he is happy to support Trump in any way.
But when was the last time a Hoosier occupied the white house?
Most recently, Dan Quyale served as Vice President under President George H. W. Bush from 1989 to 1993.
The only President from Indiana was Benjamin Harrison, who served as the 23rd President of the United States from 1889 to 1893.
Trump is expected to announce his running mate in the next few days.
If Pence is chosen, he will have until Friday at noon to withdraw his name from the ballot for Indiana's gubernatorial race.
