Three adults and two children have been rescued after a gondola-style ride at the Indianapolis Zoo stopped working.
Two cars on the Skyline became stuck Monday afternoon over the zoo's orangutan exhibit. No injuries have been reported.
Zoo spokeswoman Judy Palermo tells WISH-TV that fire crews helped zoo personnel bring the riders to safety. It took about 90 minutes to get the passengers down.
The Skyline allows riders to view the zoo from up to 50 feet in the air. It was closed for about a year between 2015 and 2016.
In July 2015, eight people including at least three children were rescued after the ride left them stranded. The ride also stopped in June 2015. In October 2014, 18 riders were stuck after the ride stopped.
