Bloomington Police are investigating a string of ten drug overdoses in the city in a 24 hour period.
Police say in a statement the overdoses are preliminarily linked to a "tan colored heroin" and spice, a synthetic cannabinoid.
The statement says investigators are working to identify the source of the drugs.
Bloomington Police are also investigating a death that they believe is connected to the string of overdoses. A woman died at approximately 4:30 in the morning on Thursday at the 2500 block of S Rockport Road. Police are waiting on a toxicology report to confirm if the woman's death was drug-related.
