The specialty grocery chain Fresh Thyme Farmers Market plans to open a second Bloomington location at College Mall, a Fresh Thyme spokesperson confirms.
The representative says the new location will open in 2018 but did not indicate where in the mall the new store will be located. Simon Malls, which operates College Mall, did not respond to a request for comment.
A Whole Foods Market 365 was set to open in College Mall, but the opening date is now uncertain, adding to rumors that another store will open in that spot instead. However, Bloomington is still listed as a future location on Whole Foods' website.
Bloomington's first Fresh Thyme location opened just three months ago on the west side.
