The Indiana Bicentennial torch will pass through nine state parks on its trip across the state. The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is offering free admission at each park on the day the torch passes through.
The torch is part of the celebration of the 200th anniversary of Indiana statehood, and the Indiana state park system will also be celebrating its 100th birthday.
The torch relay begins Friday in the state's first capital city, Corydon. It will conclude October 15 at the Statehouse in Indianapolis.

Admission at most of the state parks is $7 for in-state vehicles and $9 for out-of-state vehicles.
