The National Weather Service is warning Hoosiers across the state to be prepared for flash flooding. Some communities like Shoals are already experiencing the effects of two to five inches of rainfall that fell between Saturday and Monday morning.
Several rivers could also crest as a result of the weather. Police are reminding motorists never to drive on flooded roadways. They've already had to rescue several since Sunday.
