Indiana University Hoosiers defensive tackle Darius Latham is being suspended from the football program indefinitely, the program announced Tuesday.
A press release says Latham has been "suspended immediately and indefinitely from competition with the football team pending the resolution of a proceeding with Indiana University Office of Student Ethics."
Latham missed the season opener after he and several other players were sidelined for unspecified reasons.
The university says it will have no further comment until the proceeding is concluded.
