The Hoosier Lottery marks a milestone on Monday.
The lottery sold its first ticket 25 years ago on Oct. 13, 1989.
Lottery officials say the game has raised more than $521 million for police and firefighter pensions and $707 million for the Teachers' Retirement Fund since its start.
Players have won $9.4 billion in prize money, and 4,000 lottery retailers have earned $1.1 billion in commissions.
