Phase one for a multi-use building in downtown Kokomo, which includes apartments and a parking garage, is almost completed.
The entire project includes 39 apartments and a garage with 280 spots.
An additional 80 spots will be reserved for those who live in the building and government employees.
Mayor Greg Goodnight says the parking project will be completed next month, with the apartments construction set to be finished in the Spring of 2015.
The parking garage is the first one in downtown Kokomo. It is part of Mayor Goodnight's initiative to revitalize the city's downtown.
Goodnight has also overseen the construction of a baseball stadium downtown and the expansion of a walking trail.
