Dem. Senators Await Response After Equifax Investigation Demands

A group of 31 Democratic Senators, including Indiana Sen. Joe Donnelly, have yet to receive a response from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau after demanding the details of the company's halted Equifax data breach investigation.

The group of Senators penned a letter to the CFPB requesting details of the status of the investigation and addressing their concerns with the leadership of CFPB CEO, Mick Mulvaney.

The letter included a list of specific questions asking how the company will execute Equifax investigation the process.

Officials say the letter was originally sent to the company on Feb. 7, but the senators have not yet received a response.

Donnelly has been calling on Equifax for action and accountability since the national data breach last fall. Donnelly posted the official letter to his Facebook page on Monday:
