Construction of a multi-use path will close a section of Sare Road beginning Monday.
A release from the Bloomington mayor’s office says the southbound lane of South Sare Road will close Monday, July 13 through Sunday, July 26.
The southbound lane will be closed from East Moores Pike to East Buttonwood Lane while the northbound lane remains open to traffic. Signage will direct traffic to the detour using South High Street.
The closure is part of the Sare Road Multi-use Path and Intersection Improvements project occurring on the southside of Bloomington.
The release says the multi-use path portion of the project is expected to be completed by November 2020.
