Former Vigo County Schools administrator Frank Fennell must report to federal prison by June 6.
Fennell was originally ordered to self-surrender on May 30. Last week, he requested to delay his report date by two weeks to assist in his daughter's recovery from a sports-related injury that required surgery.
The judge denied the initial request, but granted a one-week delay instead.
Fennell will serve two years in prison after being convicted in a kickback scheme that cost the Vigo Co. Schools roughly $110,000. His co-defendant, Frank Shahadey, is serving a 16-month sentence after pleading guilty.
The Vigo Co. School Corp. has filed a lawsuit to reclaim a portion of the money.
