Coroner Joani Shields said Annamarie Greta Mumper and Emma and Jakob Mumper all died as a result of gunshot wounds to the head. She ruled their deaths homicides.

Shields' report also listed Jeffrey Mumper's cause of death as a gunshot wound to the head but ruled his death a suicide.

Bloomington Police Capt. Ryan Pedigo said Tuesday that investigators had not yet determined a motive in the killings, but believed that Jeffrey killed his three family members before turning the gun on himself.

The family was discovered Sunday when a friend of Emma Mumpert came to pick her up, and upon entering the house, found Emma's body in her bedroom. Annamarie Greta and Jakob's bodies were also found in their bedrooms. Jeffrey's body was found in the bathroom.
