As positive COVID-19 cases increase across the state, some school districts are shifting back to remote learning for older students.
All six public school corporations in Johnson County are requiring middle and high school students to follow a hybrid schedule that limits in-person learning to two days a week.
Johnson County’s coronavirus positivity rate is 11 percent, according to the state’s 7-day average.

Center Grove Schools announced the change Monday -- following a string of positive COVID-19 cases that led to more than 80 middle and high school students quarantining.
School districts in other counties are also responding. Beech Grove Schools in Marion County moved all high school students to full-time e-learning … and suspended all athletic practices and competitions.
Across the state, around 8,500 students, teachers and staff have tested positive for the virus.
