Jonathan P. Campbell, 41, of Ellettsville, was arrested Wednesday for bestiality and possessing child pornography, according to an emailed statement from the Indiana State Police.

Campbell is facing eight felony child pornography charges and one count of bestiality. He’s also facing three drug charges, including felony possession of a narcotic, psilocybin, also known as magic mushrooms.

According to the statement, troopers in the Bloomington district and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force acted on a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

An initial hearing is set for Friday. It's not clear if Campbell has an attorney.

He's being held at the Monroe County Jail.
