Nashville Town Hall is closed because of two confirmed COVID-19 cases. Town Council President Nancy Crocker says the facilities will stay closed until Memorial Day, when they will re-evaluate.
“We have two confirmed and one is waiting on a test. So we just felt like for the public safety, we would shut it down until Memorial Day,” Crocker said.
Crocker says she knows of about 5 or 6 positive cases over the past four weeks.
There is a recent uptick in COVID cases in Indiana, based on a 7-day average. The state is reporting 95 more cases this week than last week.
