South-central Indiana could see light snow accumulation

If individuals need to travel Wednesday and Thursday, they should prep their cars with food, water, blankets, and a shovel in case they get stuck on the side of the road.

Light snow is expected across most of central Indiana tonight into Saturday. South-central portions of the state could see mostly rain mixed with snow.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Indianapolis are predicting an inch of snow throughout central Indiana, and maybe more further north.

Precipitation could lead to slick spots on the road. Snow should end by 10:00 a.m. Saturday.

Forecasters say a significant system is expected to move through Indiana next Tuesday with potential for rain, snow, and wind.
