Less than an inch of snow expected after 1 a.m. Friday

Snow could begin falling in the overnight hours in south central Indiana – but most likely not until after 1 a.m.

Total accumulation of less than an inch of snow is expected by Friday morning with zero degree wind chill values.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Indianapolis have issued a Winter Weather Advisory for two to four inches of snow for the northern and central portions of the state.

Another arctic blast is expected this weekend with highs in the lower 20s. A wind chill advisory will take effect 7 p.m. Friday until 10 a.m. Saturday for possible wind chills 15 degrees below zero.

Monday highs should return to upper 30s.
