Kellie Streeter wins GOP nomination for House District 45

Kellie Streeter (R-Knox County) will be the Republican nominee in the race for House District 45. She had ???% of votes with ???% precincts reporting. Her opponents Bruce Borders (R-Jasonville) and Jeff Ellington (R-Bloomfield) received ???% and ???% respectively. 

Streeter currently has a clear path to the statehouse; Indiana Democrats didn’t hold a primary for House District 45, which encompasses all of Greene and Sullivan counties as well as parts of Daviess, Knox and Vigo counties.

On the campaign trail, Streeter said that her main tasks once she made it to office would be lowering gas taxes, working on Medicaid, and funding infrastructure repairs. 

Streeter is the current president of the Knox County Board of Commissioners as well as the president of the Indiana County Commissioners Association. She’s also the administrator of the local health department in Daviess County.
