A Brownsburg man pleaded guilty Friday to assaulting officers at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

Troy Koen agreed with allegations of assaulting, resisting or impeding officers. The maximum sentence is eight years in prison, a $250,000 fine and three years of probation.

Court documents say Koen was at the front of riot lines pushing back against police. He was seen using flagpole to break through glass doors and jab at officers.
