WTIU invites you to an exclusive early look at The Forsytes, the highly anticipated new MASTERPIECE series coming to PBS. Join us on March 1 at 7pm at IU Cinema for a free sneak peek screening of Episode 1, weeks before the series premieres on television.

Set in 1880s London, The Forsytes is a lavish new costume drama that explores the lives of a wealthy and powerful family bound together—and torn apart—by love, ambition, loyalty, and betrayal. This special preview offers audiences a first glimpse into an epic new MASTERPIECE story, best experienced on the big screen.

About the Episode

The premiere episode introduces the influential Forsyte family at a pivotal moment in Victorian England, where rigid social expectations collide with personal desire. As fortunes are made and reputations are carefully guarded, simmering tensions emerge beneath the surface of privilege and respectability.

Centered on the complex relationships within the Forsyte clan, the opening chapter sets the stage for a sweeping family saga—one driven by romance, rivalry, and the high stakes of status in a rapidly changing world.

The Forsytes premieres on WTIU Sunday, March 22 at 9pm, with new episodes airing weekly.
