Biology On The Farm, Breaded Pork Tenderloin, Grilled Salmon

My most memorable pork tenderloin ever was at a filling station of all placed in Gnaw Bone, Indiana. There was just something about biting into that exceptional sandwich in a gas station that just made it a great experience.

That's Rick Garrett. He's been called a breaded pork tenderloin connoisseur. Traditional Arts Indiana is here with a tribute to the iconic sandwich.

Midwestern cities may have the infrastructure to help refugees settle into a new life, but what if they want to farm? Harvest Public Media has the story of Des Moines' training farms.

In the second half of our show, we grill some salmon on a cedar plank and we pair it with an Asian inspired spinach salad.

And, we catch up with some biology students who got their hands dirty collections samples at a local organic farm. Their findings may surprise you -- they sure surprised the farmer!
